This will begin my Poga Life Story 05/04/2008 I have been overweight most of my life and except for a few years in the Navy it was always 20 to 30 pounds. (See picture 3) The last few years in the Navy I was the closest to my ideal weight. When I retired from the navy in 1988 I began adding 2 to 3 pounds each and every year. I would loose a few pounds only to gain them and a few more right back.
In March of 2007 I had surgery for perforated diverticulitis. I take full credit for getting myself in such an unhealthy state in the first place. Always hungry or at least I thought hunger, I loved good food and my two biggest downfalls were large portions of red meat and popcorn or peanuts for late night snacks. It had to be the popcorn with the theater butter and the most calories possible. My habit and lifestyle was to ingest "FOOD" and not "NUTRITION".
Wow Two Hundred and Seventy Seven pounds tuff to Swallow The food surely wasn’t though. In June 2007 I started using Poga Moonga to help control my high blood pressure and cholesterol and never dreamed there would be an added benefit. I recently learned that Poga was so nutritious that a meal or two could be replaced by consuming a few ounces of Poga. The best part; hunger isn’t an issue because the body is getting the nutrition it needs and hunger signals aren’t triggered. I actually went on a 48 hour cleansing fast ingesting only Poga Moonga and water. I was charged with energy the full time and didn’t experience hunger or dizziness.
It is now the end of March and I am down to 266 Pounds I replaced one or two meals per day with 3 or 4 ounces of Poga, again no hunger. At times it will be 2pm before I get the first feelings of hunger; if I was busy I would take some more Poga which would last until 6Pm for the evening meal. The last meal of the day I ate very sensibly more veggies and less meat.
